- Rachel moves to structure the state FFA agriscience award similar to nationals where the students would find out the results of the competition at the same time during the session on stage. (similar to proficiency Top 4) Jennifer Johnston seconded. Motion passes.
- Scott Sharp moved to recommend that the state host evaluations in person no matter what unless the governor restricts in person meetings. Debra Burden seconded. Motion passed.
- Scott Sharp moves that district 7 take to delegate council the study and reference material piece proposal as prepared by Eric and the concern that ag teachers need to be clearly notified for when the test writing for WebXam is coming up. Karley Gill seconded the motion. Motion passes.
- Random info from Eric ~~ Allow unlimited testing for students and teachers. Provide practice tests for all areas. Pasts tests use validated questions only. Allow notes to be taken. Along longer review time. Don’t charge for pre testing practice. Remove ODE from the test writing process. Have 5+ years to write as a teacher. Industry personal vs. current industry?
- Jennifer Johnston moves to have any rules and all dates involving competitions or evaluation events to be posted to Ohio FFA by August 1st and not be changed. Seconded by Debra Burden. Motion passed.
