Amanda-Clearcreek FFA Alumni Meeting Minutes

The scheduled meeting of the Amanda-Clearcreek FFA Alumni was called to order by President, Nick Greiner on November 17, 2012 at 6:47 P.M. at the Amanda-Clearcreek High School in the Ag Ed Classroom. There were 9 members present: Jeff Tilley, J.D. Stover, Nick Greiner, Ben Blosser, Jennifer Blosser, Mark Francis, Megan Francis, Robert Blosser, and Crystal Groves. There was one guest.

Minutes of the Previous Meeting: Ben Blosser moved accept the minutes of the previous meeting. Mark Francis seconded the motion. The motion to accept the minutes of the previous meeting passed.

Officer Reports: Jeff Tilley held discussion about the financial report provided. Robert Blosser moved to accept the officer report. J.D. Stover seconded the motion. The motion to accept the officer report passed.

Unfinished Business: None

Committee Reports:

· Scholarship Committee - Jeff Tilley held discussion on upcoming scholarship funds. It was reported that Mike & Diane Miller recently donated $500 for a scholarship to the A-C FFA Alumni.

· Fundraising Committee – Jeff Tilley held discussion on the profit from the French fry sales at the home football games in 2012. The net profit from this fund raiser was $2,992.59

Jennifer Blosser moved to accept the committee reports. Robert Blosser seconded the motion. The motion to accept the committee reports passed.

New Business:

· A-C FFA Update

o Jeff Tilley discussed issues that included the National FFA Convention, greenhouse progress and plans, and fruit sales.

· A general discussion was held about scholarship issues that included ideas for upcoming interviews, and candidates. Ideas about a building for funds French fry sales was also discussed.

· The next meeting will be held in the Ag Ed Classroom on Saturday, January 12^th, 2013.

· Robert Blosser moved to adjourn the meeting. Megan Francis seconded the motion. The motion to adjourn the meeting passed. The meeting was adjourned at 7:48 P.M.
