The Amanda-Clearcreek FFA Alumni Meeting Minutes

The quarterly meeting of the Amanda-Clearcreek FFA Alumni was called to order on January 15, 2016 by President Nick Greiner at 6:33 PM at the Amanda-Clearcreek Ag classroom. There were 12 members present: Jeff Tilley, Brittany Tilley, Devon Mullen, Katerina Sharp, Brynn Hoffman, Christian Hoffman, Mark Francis, Crystal Groves, Kayla Luft, Laurie Travis, and Jennifer Blosser. There was one guest: Sarah Flynn.

Minutes of the Previous Meeting: Brittany Tilley moved to accept the minutes of the previous meeting. Mark Francis seconded the motion. The motion to accept the minutes of the previous meeting passed.

Officer Reports: The treasurer report was handed out and dicussed by Jeff Tilley. Brittany Tilley moved to accept the officer report as read. Christian Hoffman seconded the motion. The treasurer report as read was passed.

Committee Reports: Jennifer Blosser discussed scholarship interview that will be held on March 8, 2016 at 3 PM.  Mark Francis moved to accept the committee report discussed. Laurie Travis seconded the motion. The motion to accept the committee report as read passed.

New Business:

• Christian Hoffman moved to give no scholarship money to the recipient that did not meet the requirement, but asked for an extension, to wait until the recipient can meeting the qualifications for 2 years.

• Brittany Tilley moved to give half of the scholarship $250.00 to the new university where the student enrolled, and give the other half of the scholarship money if he meets the grade required until Fall of 2017. Mark  Franicis seconded the motion. The motion to give half of the scholarship $250.00 to the new university where the student enrolled, and give the other half of the scholarship money if he meets the grade required until Fall of 2017 passed.

• Kayla Luft moved to keep the officer team the same. Brittany Tilley seconded the motion. The motion to keep the officer team as read passed.   The 2016 officers are:    President, Nick Greiner  Vice-President, Ben Blosser  Treasurer, Jeff Tilley,   Reporter, Brynn Hoffman   Secretary, Crystal Groves.

• Jeff Tilley moved to keep the committee chairs the same. Mark Francis admended the motion for Devon Mullen for member Recruitment. Christian Hoffman seconded the motion. The motion to keep the committee chairs all the same, but make Devon Mullen the committee chair for member recruitment passed.

• Christian Hoffman moved to adjourn the meeting. Laurie Travis seconded the motion. The meeting was adjourned at 7:42PM.

The next meeting will be April 8, 2016 at 6 PM at the Amanda-Clearcreek Ag classroom.
