Amanda-Clearcreek FFA Alumni Meeting Minutes

The quarterly meeting of the Amanda-Clearcreek FFA Alumni was called to order by President, Nick Greiner on January 15, 2017 at 6:35 PM at the Tilley residence. There were 18 members present: Scott Sharp, Katerina Sharp, Nick Greiner, Angie Greiner, Cassie Rainer, Alyssa Jenkins, Brittany Tilley, Jeff Tilley, Emmy Hollar, Josh Cordle, Ben Blosser, Jennifer Blosser, Laurie Travis, Adam Travis, Mark Francis, Megan Francis, Dillon Mullins, and Crystal Groves.

Officer Reports: Jeff Tilley held discussion on the treasurer report. He covered the trailer cost along with the gross fry sales report. Mark Francis moved to accept the officer report. Scott Morris seconded the motion. The motion to accept the officer report as read passed.

Committee Reports: Discussion was held about possible upcoming fry sale opportunities, senior scholarships, updates on scholarships, and member recruitment ideas. Brittany Tilley moved to accept the committee reports as read. Emmy Hollar seconded the motion. The motion to accept the committee reports as read passed.

New Business:

· Much discussion was held over the chapter updates and upcoming events. Fruit and flower bulb sales were up from last year. The Ohio FFA Alumni annual meeting is coming up and we need two delegates to attend.

· Mark Francis moved to allow the United Methodist Church to use our concession trailer with Mark’s supervision. Scott Sharp seconded the motion. The motion to allow the United Methodist Church to use our concession trailer with Mark’s supervision passed.

· Officer Elections:

o Brittany Tilley moved for Alyssa Jenkins for president. Cassie Rainer seconded the motion. The motion for Alyssa Jenkins to take president passed.

o Jeff Tilley moved to have Katerina Sharp as alumni reporter. Mark Francis seconded the motion. The motion for Katerina Sharp for alumni reporter passed.

o President: Alyssa Jenkins, Vice President: Ben Blosser, Treasurer: Jeff Tilley, Secretary: Crystal Groves, Reporter: Katerina Sharp.

o Jeff Tilley moved to accept the officers nominated. Nick Greiner seconded the motion. The motion to accept the officers nominated passed.

· Jeff Tilley moved for Nick Greiner for Member Recruitment committee chair. Brittany Tilley seconded the motion. The nomination for Nick Greiner for Member Recruitment committee chair passed.
