Amanda-Clearcreek FFA Alumni Meeting Minutes

The quarterly meeting of the Amanda-Clearcreek FFA Alumni was called to order by President, Devon Mullen on June 6, 2021 at 7:14 P.M. at the Francis’ residence. There were 13 members present: Mark Francis, Megan Francis, Brittany Tilley, Jeff Tilley, Dillon Mullen, Devon Mullen, Joel Spires, Nannette Spires, Susan Householder, Morgan, Cole Bryan, and Crystal Groves.

Officer Reports: Jeff Tilley held discussion on the Alumni's Financial report. Brittany Tilley moved to accept the officer reports. Dillon Mullen seconded the motion. The motion to accept the officer reports as read passed.

Committee Reports: Jeff Tilley held discussion on the on fundraising for the 2021 year. The group discussed upcoming fundraising possibilities along with adding a new committee for interview. Mark Francis moved to accept the committee reports. Brittany Tilley seconded the motion. The motion to accept the committee reports passed.

New Business:

• A-C FFA Chapter Update

• Jeff Tilley discussed the latest within the program. The Chapter has 42 kids attending FFA camp, 4 going to the Ohio Leadership Conference, 1 State Proficiency Award winner, 6 state FFA degrees, a new State FFA officer.
• There are new course changes within the FFA, there will no longer be work release

•         Officer Elections: Brittany Tilley moved to keep the officer team the same. Dillon Mullen seconded the motion. The motion to keep the officer team the same for 2021 passed. The officer team is as follows:

President: Devon Mullen

Vice-President: Alyssa Jenkins

Treasure: Jeff Tilley

Reporter: Katerina Sharp

Secretary: Crystal Groves

• Brittany Tilley moved to form an interview committee to create scholarship and trip guidelines needed for the interview process. Mark Francis seconded the motion. A small group will be working on a point scale and then an interview committee will be named at next meeting.
• Dillon Mullen moved to sell French fries at the upcoming demolition derby to be held at the Fairfield County Fairgrounds on July 17, 2021.

• June 27, 2021 will be a clean up day to get the fry trailer prepared for the derby and upcoming football season.

• Mark Francis moved to name an Alumni Scholarship after Jace Spires & Family. Jeff Tilley seconded the motion. The motion to name an Alumni Scholarship after Jace Spires & Family passed.
• Jeff Tilley moved to adjourn the meeting. Mark Francis seconded the motion. The meeting was adjourned at 8:43 P.M.
