Amanda-Clearcreek Alumni Meeting Minutes

The quarterly meeting of the Amanda-Clearcreek FFA Alumni was called to order by president, Alyssa Jenkins on April 9, 2017 at 6:17 PM at the Amanda-Clearcreek Ag shop. There were 12 members present: Jeff Tilley, Brittany Tilley, Alyssa Jenkins, Jenifer Blosser, Ben Blosser, Josh Cordle, Dylan Mullen, Megan Francis, Mark Francis, and Crystal Groves.

 

Minutes of the Previous Meeting: Mark Francis moved to accept the minutes of the previous meeting. Brittany Tilley seconded the motion. The motion to accept the minutes of the previous meeting passed.

 

Officer Reports: Jeff Tilley discussed and reviewed the treasurer report. Nick Greiner moved to accept the officer report. Brittany Tilley seconded the motion. The motion to accept the officer report passed.

 

Committee Reports: Discussion was held by Jeff Tilley and Nick Greiner about participating in the Fairfield County Antique Tractor Club Show. Jeff Tilley discussed the upcoming graduates and possible new members. Megan Francis and Jenifer Blosser shared the results of the 2017 scholarship results. Brittany Tilley moved to accept the committee reports. Ben Blosser seconded the motion. The motion to accept the committee reports passed.

 

New Business:

á      Jeff Tilley discussed Amanda-Clearcreek FFA CDE results, changes made to the ag. Department with cuts, mulch and flower bulb fundraising, and the State and American FFA degrees.  Note: A-C FFA Banquet is May 13, 2017.

á      Jeff Tilley moved to participate in the Fairfield County Antique Tractor Show this summer. Josh Cordle seconded the motion. The motion to participate in the Fairfield County Antique Tractor Show this summer passed.

á      Jeff Tilley moved to sponsor $50/team for the Envirothon. Nick Greiner seconded the motion. The motion to sponsor $50 per team for the Envirothon passed.

á      Brittany Tilley moved to change the next alumni meeting to August 6 at 4PM at the Blosser residence. Josh Cordle seconded the motion. The motion to change the next alumni meeting to August 6 passed.

á      Jeff Tilley moved to investigate a cost for an exhaust system for the concession trailer. Nick Greiner seconded the motion. The motion to investigate a cost for an exhaust system for the concession trailer passed.

á      Nick Greiner moved to adjourn the meeting. Jeff Tilley seconded the motion. The meeting was adjourned at 7:05 PM.
