Amanda-Clearcreek FFA Alumni Meeting Minutes

The scheduled meeting of the Amanda-Clearcreek FFA Alumni was called to order by President, Nick Greiner on August 11^th, 2012 at 6:33 P.M at Amanda-Clearcreek High School in the Ag Ed Classroom. There were 12 members in attendance: Ben Blosser, Jenifer Blosser, Emily Cordle, Josh Cordle, David Sams, Joel Spires, Nanette Spires, Jenna Ferguson, Nick Greiner, Aaron Miller, Crystal Groves, and Jeff Tilley. There was one guest.

Minutes of the Previous Meeting: Joel Spires moved to accept the minutes of the previous meeting. Josh Cordle seconded the motion. The motion to accept the minutes of the previous meeting passed.

Officer Reports: Jeff Tilley discussed the Financial Report. Aaron Miller moved to accept the officer report. David Sams seconded the motion. The motion to accept the officer reports passed.

Committee Reports:

· Fundraising Committee - Jeff Tilley and Nick Greiner discussed committee reports on the current status and plan for French Fry Sales.

Ben Blosser moved to accept the committee report as read. Josh Cordle seconded the motion. The motion to accept the committee report as read passed.

New Business:

· A-C FFA Update

o Jeff Tilley discussed the new high school staff, new rules being put in place, new curriculum, and dates that will interfere with upcoming trips, football games, and contests. He also discussed the details of the Pelotonia Bike Ride that the chapter had recently helped with.

· Nick Greiner discussed ideas to purchase another fryer for the French Fry sales. Joel Spires moved to look at the fryers for sale and to offer no more than $375 for both fryers. Jeff Tilley seconded the motion. The motion passed.

· The next meeting was set for November 11, 2012 at 6 P.M. in the Ag room of Amanda-Clearcreek High School.

· Jennifer Blosser moved to adjourn the meeting. David Sams seconded the motion. The meeting was adjourned at 7:34 P.M.
