Chapter Receives Gold Rating

You probably noticed that Mr. Tilley, Mr. Sharp, President Mark Francis and Vice-President Beth Fouse looked a little frazzled during February. That is because they've been busy on preparing a very lengthy, and in-depth application for the National Chapter Award. This year, the A-C FFA Chapter placed 18th overall in the state. All 326 chapters in the state had the opportunity to apply for this award. We should be proud of our chapter for this stellar achievement.

Mulch Orders Due

Mulch orders must be turned in by April 12th. All profits from the mulch sale benefit our banquet and chapter awards. Keep selling to have an awesome banquet!

Paper Drive is a Success

Last month, the chapter collected paper, in hopes to raise money for Children's hospital. The chapter collected over 3000 lbs, and made $37.50. The chapter will donate money so the total going to Children's Hospital is $100.00. Thanks to all who brought paper to school.

A-C FFA Chapter Banquet

Mark your calendars! This year's banquet will be held at 4:00 P.M. on May 19th.

Members to Receive State FFA Degrees

This year, three members of the A-C FFA Chapter will be receiving their State FFA Degrees. These members are Kevin Strickler, Mark Francis and Tiffany Timmons. Earning the State FFA Degree is a long process. It is achievable only after a member has received his or her Greenhand and Chapter degree, earned and productively invested at least $2500, and participated in many state and national level FFA Activities. These three members have excelled, and hopefully will go on to become recipients of the American FFA Degree. Congratulations!

Ag Breakfast

This month's Ag Breakfast will be held at Tee Jaye's; be there at 7:00 A.M. Ag Breakfasts are a great way to get out of your usual breakfast routine and socialize before school.
