Mulch Sale

The mulch sale has been going on for a couple of weeks now and will be ending on April 14th. If you have not yet ordered your mulch, it is not too late. You can give your order to any Amanda Clearcreek. FFA member. Every member is highly encouraged to at least sell to his or her family and immediate neighbors. Every little bit helps. Members must have all mulch delivered and have all money turned in by the end of April. Just a reminder, we sell some of the cheapest, largest bags of mulch around and WE DELIVER! If you have not been asked and wish to buy you can call Mr. Tilley or Mr. Sharp at 969-7384
Flower Bulb Sale

The flower bulb sale began on March 10th. For those who intended on going to camp you were encouraged to sell flower bulbs. For every packet of bulbs you sell, all of the profit would have gone towards your camp cost. You could have paid off the whole price of camp by just selling flower bulbs. The Flower Bulb sale ended March 31st.
What are Proficiency Awards?

Proficiency awards are based upon a member's Supervised Agricultural Experience Project(s). Applicants must complete and submit their project books and a detailed application. Project books are evaluated for accuracy and neatness while the applications are also evaluated for these factors plus numerous others such as the description of skills learned, supporting pictures, etc. Currently each February, applications are reviewed for accuracy at the District level and submitted to the State level for further evaluation and placing. Those applicants deemed to be in the top few (generally the top four) in the state in their respective area are then interviewed. From these final applicants, three are then selected as the top three in the state, receiving their final placing and award plaques at the State FFA Convention in May.
