This year we had a run-off test to attain members for our Agricultural Communications team. This years team is: Adam Baldwin, Cortney Collins, Brittany Pinkstock, Jodi Roush, and Stacey Sams. Each team member must take two tests; an editing exercise, and a communications quiz. Every team member is assigned to one of five jobs; news writer, press release writer, broadcaster, graphic designer, and web page designer. Then, all of the team members will give a powerpoint presentation. Our chapter has went to state every year in the Ag Communications CDE, and won the State twice, allowing the chapter to compete in the National Agricultural Communications Contest. We have also placed fourth in the Nation in 2001, and have been in the top five in the state ever year, except one. This year our chapter will be hosting the Agricultural Communications Contest on Tuesday, November 15th at 4 P.M.

This is an activity that is required to be able to receive your State FFA Degree. We will be inviting other FFA chapters in our county. It is also a great way to spend time with members of our chapter, as well as members from the other schools in our county, and some of the Ohio FFA Officers. We ask that you make a $5 deposit. If you attend, you will receive your $5 back. If you don’t attend, there will be no refund .
