National FFA Week
With the busy school week we still managed to have our National FFA Week. We did not have school on Monday (Presidents Day), so therefore National FFA Week began on Tuesday February 17th. Tuesday was Blue & Gold Day. Wednesday was Tractor Day & Bib Overall Day along with the Dodgeball Tournament. Thursday was A-C FFA Shirt Day and Teacher Appreciation Day. Friday was FFA Jacket/ Official Dress Day and 8th Grade Ag Awareness Day. Thanks to all those members that participated in those activities.
Assistant Officer Applications
Applications for Assistant Officers need to be turned in by Feb 27th. You must have your Greenhand FFA Degree. The officers will be choosing their assistants on March 8th at the leadership team meeting. Their final decisions will be announced at the March meeting. Assistants do a lot for the chapter that is not seen by others. The Officers look forward to having to make some hard decisions on this one!
