Reflection on the  97th National FFA Convention & Expo: This year, the Amanda-Clearcreek FFA Chapter attended the 97th National FFA Convention & Expo. Our members had a great time attending sessions and the Buckeye Bash, exploring the FFA Shopping Center and Career Show, touring museums, and many other fun activities! The chapter had an immense amount of success this year, starting with Morgan Anderson wrapping up her year of service as the National Eastern Region Vice President. Morgan helped run numerous sessions at Convention and delivered her retiring address where she taught us what it means to be a good person. Additionally, the Agricultural Communications team consisting of Catherine Buckley, Maddie Cordle, Haley Robinson, and Emma Strickler placed 9th overall in the nation and earned a gold-rating for their diligent work. Not only that, but Madelyn Anderson, who competed in the Employment Skills CDE, earned a silver rating, which placed her somewhere in the Top 20 in the nation. Mr. Sharp and Mr. Tilley were also recognized on stage as recipients of the Honorary American FFA Degree. This degree recognizes individuals who have exceeded expectations in shaping the future of agriculturalists and have dedicated their lives to improving their students. Not only that, but the Amanda-Clearcreek FFA Chapter was recognized as a 2-Star Gold Rated Chapter in the nation. To wrap up this amazing week, Riley McKeska and Hannah Saum earned their American FFA Degrees. We couldn't be more proud!
