February FFA Meeting
The next A-C FFA meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 19th at 7 p.m. in the Cafeteria. During this meeting, we will be electing the 2025-2026 Amanda-Clearcreek FFA Officer Team. To become a chapter officer, a member must have their Greenhand and Chapter degree. They must also demonstrate a desire to be a leader and representative of the A-C FFA Chapter. This is an extremely high honor to hold. As a result of holding elections for our new officer team, there will not be an Ag Challenge following the conclusion of the meeting.

Upcoming Contests (CDEs)
Agricultural Sales: The Agricultural Sales Career Development Event allows students to demonstrate their knowledge of sales practices and their ability to communicate with a customer to effectively conduct a sale. This year’s team consists of Cate Buckley, Maddie Cordle, Haley Robinson, and Emma Strickler. Team members were first required to take an online examination quizzing them on sales techniques. Then students will conduct an individual sales presentation, followed by a team activity to create a plan for a customer. Good luck to these members!
Greenhand Quiz: For any freshmen interested in demonstrating their knowledge of all things FFA, the Greenhand Quiz CDE is perfect for them. This contest quizzes members on FFA history, as well as current events happening in the National FFA Organization. Good luck to all participants.
Outdoor Power Equipment: This CDE allows students to demonstrate their ability to recognize and repair malfunctions in outdoor power equipment. In this competition, students will take an online exam, followed by completing individual practicums and a team practicum. Good luck!
Public Speaking: The Public Speaking Career Development Event helps students improve their social interactions and communication skills. There are four categories that members may choose to compete in for the Public Speaking CDE. The first is Creed Public Speaking; this year’s Creed speakers are Grace Martin and Riley Strickler. Next is Beginning Prepared Public Speaking which will be done by Alayna Leppert and Olivia Stout. In the Advanced Prepared Public Speaking category there is Caidyn Garee and Emma Strickler. Finally, in the Extemporaneous Public Speaking category, Ellie Moss will be competing. Best of luck to all of these members.
