Ag Industry Tour

Each summer for a part of the students summer activities, the chapter goes to different agricultural businesses to learn about that particular industry. Students attend these tours to learn more about other areas of agriculture than what is taught in their regular agricultural education class. Generally, tours are scheduled on the same day in either late July or early August. Some examples of locations the chapter has toured in the past are: the Dickinson Cattle Company (Longhorn cattle), Freshwater Farms (indoor trout), Amanda Hills Bottling (bottled water), Jay-Ron Fabricating (welding shop), etc. These tours are always very interesting, fun and educational.
