Annual Mulch Sale

Prices this year are as follows:

1 to 25 Bags - $3.50 per bag

26 to 65 Bags - $3.30 per bag

66 to 100 Bags - $3.15 per bag

100 + Bags - $3.10 per bag

All bags of mulch are 2 cubic foot bags. These are smaller than what we have sold in the past. We switched for three main reasons:

1. It is harder to find 3 cu ft bags of mulch as the industry switches to smaller bags.

2. The price per cubic feet of mulch is actually CHEAPER for 3 different types in smaller bags.

3. Many customers have asked for lighter, easier to move bags.

The chapter will be offering the following types of mulch:

Absolute Black Mulch is a color-enhanced substitute for hardwood mulch. This shredded mulch product has been colored with a vivid, long-lasting black color.	Absolute Red Mulch is a color-enhanced substitute for cypress mulch. A long-lasting, vibrant red iron oxide has been added to the mulch.	Cypress Mulch is light in color with a slight red or orange cast. Cypress mulch is long-lasting, and is slow to break down or decompose.
		Delivery will begin in late March and will continue through the end of April. All Mulch orders must be PREPAID.
Pine Bark Nugget Mulch is composed of nugget-sized pieces of pine bark, approximately 2-1/2 inches in diameter and brownish in color. This mulch is good for acid-loving plants, trees and bushes.	Premium Dark Hardwood Mulch is a double-processed product that is dark in color with a natural appearance. Because of its color, it tends to accent most plants better than some of the lighter colored mulches. This mulch will decompose and break down, acting as a natural soil conditioner.	Any FFA member can take your order. When you place an order, you should EXPECT AND REQUIRE a receipt from the FFA member.
