During the summer, the officers and sometimes the assistant officers and committee chairs, go on an out-of-state camping trip to plan the upcoming years schedule. It is a 2 to 3 day trip full of different team building activities. In previous years, the trip has consisted of white water rafting, backpacking or wild caving plus various educational stops along the way. It is a great way to accomplish the planning for the year while still having fun. The Amanda-Clearcreek Officer Retreat used to be held immediately after school is concluded in early June but now is held in late June or in July.
