Amanda-Clearcreek FFA Alumni Meeting Minutes

The quarterly meeting of the Amanda-Clearcreek FFA Alumni was called to order by President, Alyssa Jenkins on February 9, 2020 at 5:21 PM at Pizza Cottage. There were 17 members present: Mark Francis, Megan Francis, Jenifer Blosser, Ben Blosser, Jeff Tilley, Brittany Tilley, Nick Greiner, Alyssa Jenkins, Crystal Groves, Joel Spires, Nannette Spires, Nick Brumfield, Emmy Kraner, Stacy Sams, Katerina Sharp, and Devon Mullen.  

Officer Reports: Jeff Tilley held discussion on the Alumni's Financial report. Brittany Tilley moved to accept the officer reports. Emmy seconded the motion. The motion to accept the officer reports as read passed.

Committee Reports: Jeff Tilley held discussion on the French fry sales report and student scholarships. The group discussed new member retention ideas along with possible group activities. Brittany Tilley moved to accept the committee reports. Megan Francis seconded the motion. The motion to accept the committee reports passed.

New Business:

• A-C FFA Chapter Update

• Jeff Tilley discussed the latest within the program. The chapter will have 4 Proficiency Awards, 6, State FFA degrees, and 2 American FFA Degrees. Fruit sales were down a good bit from the chapter’s average along with flower bulb sales.

• 2020 Meeting Dates

• The following dates were set for the year, with 2 more to schedule when the time is closer. March 29, 2020 at 5 PM at Pizza Cottage on Fair Ave in Lancaster. August 2nd at 4PM at the Blosser residence for our annual pool party and cook out meeting.

Brittany Tilley moved to accept the officer elections. Emmy Kraner seconded the motion. The motion to accept the office elections passed.

Megan Francis moved to adjourn the meeting. Katerina Sharp seconded the motion. The meeting was adjourned at 6:27 PM.
