Summer Canoe Trip

Each summer, the Amanda-Clearcreek FFA chapter takes a Summer Canoe Trip on the Hocking River, generally in late July or early August. Though the chapter has experimented with the Mohican and Scioto rivers in past years, the chapter has enjoyed the Hocking River for many years now. Generally, members meet at school and take a school bus to the Hocking Hills Canoe Livery and take the 'short' trip on the Hocking River, generally in canoes or kayaks. After a day of enjoying the river, the chapter members generally each lunch nearby and then head home.
